Mold Finisher
The Mold Finisher is responsible for the final benching of mold components producing a quality finish, meeting or exceeding customer standards. This individual will comply with provincial and federal legislation, employee handbook guidelines, health and safety policies and ISO quality program and procedures.
Job Details:
- Full-time, Rotational

Completion of secondary school and a four-year apprenticeship or college diploma in a manufacturing field or a related discipline.
Responsibilities:
- operate and maintain power tools
- bench core verticals and EDM from ribs
- deburr and blend ejection
- flat stones parting lines, pockets, locks and molding
- disc or palm sand locks and split lines
- attend try-outs or customer service calls involving day or overnight trips locally or out of town.
- finalize all components for assembly
- retrieve data for molding and seal off
- all high polishing
- finish caveity to 1000 grit emery
- size gates, slots and pins
- bench welded surfaces
- oversee and monitor jobs from start to finish
- ability to adapt and welcome change in a positive manner
- capable of forecasting and solving problems
